About CamGlen Covid Support

This is the website and portal to support and enable a coherent and coordinated community response to the Covid-19 crisis. The statement below was agreed by the CamGlen Covid Support group which consists of all local politicians and community organisations and captures the spirit and intent.

"We have an excellent community spirit in Cambuslang and Rutherglen and we know that in this time of crisis local residents, local organisations and local businesses will rise to the challenge to help those affected by Corona virus (Covid-19).

We want to help residents and communities and add to their efforts, where it is needed. It would be very helpful to gather all the good work and supports into one place and share this across all areas and neighbourhoods, so that everyone can benefit.

If it works well in your area, it will work well in other areas. If you want to volunteer to help your neighbours and fellow citizens, we want to help you do this.

By putting our efforts together, we will overcome this crisis and we will be stronger communities when it’s over."

If there is anything you can do to help or if you want support from your local community through this tough time - this is the place to be.

Use these links for reliable information, sign up to help through here, or let us know what support you need here and together we'll support each other through Covid-19.

Please note we are unable to provide any medical advice directly, for further information on this please visit the NHS inform website here.
